Dear Mandy, in April you wrote about your dad having Throat Cancer and you in college and living with him and very frightened. You mention if you have the strength and very scared.
I've never written in one of these type of forums but I am a single mother, age 47, of a 16 year old who is planning college in 2 years. I have to have some tests done on my neck next week to check my throat and my thyroid because it is enlarged. One of my worst fears is leaving this earth before my daughter is 25 yrs old. I want her to be older and somewhat successful and living on her own so I won't have to worry but my main concern is her walk with God.
Satun wants you and I to be scared and feel like we don't have the strength but I am hear to tell you that with God in your everyday walk and conversations he will give you the strength. Your father must be one special person to have such a caring daughter. I have to run but remember, as I need to remember, just turn your life over to God and all things are possible. And if it is Gods time, and not mine, for me to leave this earth sooner then I want then I need to be ready and trust he will take care of my daughter, my prayer is that for you and your father.
