I have been experienceing a pain in my neck (my throat) but not on the inside. What could this be?

Hi.
I have the same experience, I have a tightness, like someone is pressing their fist against my throat, and breast and I have been told that this could be some tension or nerv compression in the scalene muscles. This muscles is covering the throat on the outside.
Maybe this could be your problem also?
