Yes, it can. Thyroid disorders are very tricky and may influence anything. The most “mind problems” arise from hypothyroid disorder, in which thyroid gland fails to produce enough thyroid hormone. This disorder may make you depressed, impair your memory, slow your thinking, make you fatigue, and all of other possible problem, physical problems that thyroid disorders can cause can severely impact your mind by constant stress and irritability.

As you haven’t stated what kind of troubles you had in mind, it is hard to say more.
At least you know that your troubles could be due to thyroid problems.

In order to get rid of any negative symptoms, it is important to contact a doc and take medications so you can bring the hormones levels back to normal and treat the negative symptoms in that way.
