Hi, I am 42 years old male and I am having problem with my feet. Several weeks ago I started to feel burning pain in my feet which became worse while I was walking or running. When I don't walk and I rest my feet pain becomes easier but such condition lasts until I start to walk again. I don't know what may be the reason for such condition. I am not diabetic.

Hi, I think that you have similar problem like my father. Such pain is caused by pressure which is made on tibial nerve. This nerve is pressed by surrounding tissue around this nerve while it passes trough tarsal tunnel in your feet. Tissue may press nerve because of swelling or similar reason and it make further pressure on tibial nerve. This problem may be treated by anti inflammatory medications and corticosteroids which will reduce swelling or by surgical method which will remove compression on the nerve.
