Tightness in belly???

I am 8 weeks pregnant with my third baby. I have history of pre-term labor. With my first son I started dialating at 31 weeks and I had him a month early, then with my second I started dialating at 16 weeks and I had him 2 months early.
I have been having tightness in my belly like if I was contracting, it doesnt hurt it's just very uncomfortable. It will tighten and then go away.
Is this normal and if so what could it be? I'm too early to be contracting right?
