Tingling testicles while ejaculating

I'm 24 years old and I have a problem concerning my testicles. In the last month or so I have been experiencing a strange tingling feeling every time when I'm ejaculating, no matter if I have sex or if I'm just masturbating. Lately it started happening even if I don’t ejaculate and it’s not just tingling, it even turns into a sharp pain sometimes. Can anyone tell me what could this be, can it be something dangerous or is it just the consequence of ejaculation and how can it be treated?

The tingling feeling in your testicles can sometimes be completely normal. It’s caused by increased tension in your testicles just before ejaculation, for an ejaculation to take place a pressure needs to build up that would throw the semen out into the urethra and outside of the penis. The tingling sensation can also appear and not be related to ejaculation. It is usually caused by lack of blood supply to your testicles and restoring blood supply will cause tingling to disappear. One of the blood vessels supplying your testicles with blood might be obstructed for whatever cause so that could cause that tingling sensation in your testicles. since you say that the tingling appears more frequently and even if you don’t ejaculate with blood in your semen, it is possible that you have starting stage of a testicular infection – testiculitis. In any case you should talk to your doctor about this, if this is a case of testiculitis he or she should prescribe some antibiotics to stop the infection.
