Hi
I too have this symptom & it is worrying me - I might add I have been under a lot of stress lately & have thought it may be the reason. I also have severe nausea a few times a day. Lots of stress I know can cause many problems & I am taking steps to manage the stress & see if the other problems disappear - I will keep an eye on your post.
Cheers

This just happened to me as well! I am a 23 year old female and one day randomly at work my lip was numb and tingled. It is more frequent now and my teeth are also sore and hurt.....
Has anyone gone to a doctor about this? |

| You could also have something going on with your teeth. Maybe a tooth infection. Go see your dentist. |

| I have those symptoms , started 3months ago tingling and numbness at first thought was food allergy , other things started happening fatigue was worst I nearly stopped working had no energy what so ever and muscle cramps, and that lump in the throat which came 2months ago and never has gone . Doctor tried blood tests for thyroid and other things , but all ok. The tingling numb problems came and went and still do and also I have a burnt tongue and mouth feeling. I have came to the conclusion its a wheat intolerance and from today have stopped eating wheat products with any luck this might sort me out . |

I had testing done because I felt dizzy, my tongue felt funny, I felt weak, and famished at times. My sugar (I was told) came back high. I was retested (I guess for diabetes) and the diabetes results came back negative.
I told the nurse, from my doctors office, that I get all these symptoms....why would I if something werent going on? She asked what my symptoms were..........so I told her. Then she says well maybe I have low sugar at times.
I dont get it. I have these symptoms and the results come back negative. What could be going on???
Sincerely,
Francine |

| This just happened to my wife, and she has diabetes. Her blood sugar was really low today, and when she started eating- her tongue began to get "tingly". |

Of course it can be related to diabetes, but I have neurological lyme disease and this is one of its major symptoms for me (tingling tongue, feet and hands, also top of head tingling).
Since having lyme I also developed a wheat allergy (among other food sensitivities) and sensitivity to shampoos and toothpastes as well as Raynaud's. My major symptom besides the tingling is chronic fatigue.
Unfortunately testing is unreliable so that you could have it, be tested and get a false negative. |

| A quick search on google has told me it could potentially be related to either glucose or calcium levels in the blood. |

|
|
| I've been suffering from a discomfort tongue, at times it feels like a burning sensation and at other times like is numbed. The problem has been around for a month but has not seen a doctor. I have a toothache and some tell me that it might be a root nerve that is causing the discomfort, I'm schedule to see a dentist tomorrow. I been taking Xanax to calm my nerves as it becomes very annoying dealing with a numbness tongue. If anyone has the same persisting problem please share your experience. |
