Hi. I'm 25 year old female and I would like to discuss some serious things with people who maybe have more experience on this field.
About two weeks ago, during some regular Papa test, my gynecologist I have some precancerous condition called endometriosis.
I really don’t know a lot about this but he recommended me that I should have this operation called hysterectomy done as soon as possible. Like I said before, I don’t know a lot about this operation but I know one crucial fact- after it I will not be able to have kids. This fact was devastating for me because I'm married about a year and my husband and I was looking forward to child. Are there any other options for me?

I will try to help you because I'm a woman and I know something about feeling when you’re not able to have kids. I had this operation about three years ago and since then, I'm feeling terrible.
I was diagnosed with some ovarian cancer but it was only on one ovary but, doctor afraid it has spread on other structures in my pelvis. I even now think that this operation could be avoided.
After operation it was determined that there were no carcinoma cells on other structures. So, think well about this and always look for a second opinion. Recently I have heard some good stuff about operation called endometrial ablation which should be the best alternative to hysterectomy. It is one out-patient surgical procedure which was designed to destroy the lining of the uterus. Ask your doctor to tell you more about this and other possible options.
