Took birth control pill two hours late.

This is my first month of taking the birth control pill and for three times now, (not in a row) I have been two or three hours late in taking my pill.
Is taking your pill a couple hours late a big deal or not?
Also, how can you go about changing the time in which you take the pill everyday without decreasing the effectivess of the pill?

An hour or 2 shouldnt make that much of a difference, but you dont want to take the chance, try to set an alarm on your phone or take it at a time you usually do a certain activity. When I changed the time of my pill I did it slowly, for example a half hour earlier or later than normal.
