Hi, I have been treating my high cholesterol with Sortis, for two years, I have no more problems with that, but I wonder what effect will all these medicines have on liver?

It is always under question whether by treating one condition we only produce new disorders. But, if you try to apply more lifestyle changes you may manage to regulate cholesterol level even without drugs. Still, if there is congenital disorder of increased production of cholesterol, eating habits won’t affect it much. If you have problems with inactivity, obesity, unhealthy eating, you need to take drug for the rest of your life. If you are smoker, try to quit it, regulate blood pressure and control blood sugar level. Regular exercising would also improve your chances of avoiing any undesired heart events.
