Hi guys,
I came home from work on Friday and there was some info address personally to myself from Trimbia. The envelope was post marked New Zealand. The prepaid return envelope (if I place an order) is for Singapore.
This is really odd. How did they get my name and address???
I spoke to my sister about this and she said she also received the same.
Steer clear I say!!!! |

Hi! We managed to get many info on trimbia pills but the one you asked we still haven't figured out! Where on Earth do they get names and addresses from? And how or do they know that exactly these people are overweight? Or do they send randomly and it happens for the skinny types to get them too?
Anyway, most of the people who got them are from Sweden and Australia which is also weird. Where do you come from? |

Hi My sister also recieved a flyer in the mail ... addressed personally to her.
we were going to go halves but only until I 'googled' this product, that plus the fact that it sounded to good to be true!
My sister said she recieved it in the same package as a fake clairvoyaint!
Thank God most people have alittle bit of common sense to check these things out before they waste their money on such scams.
And thanks everyone for sharing your experiences |

Well, I’ve been also going through these posts about the trimbia pills but it was like 4-5 months after I had tried them and had a great success. I keep saying that it’s probably not just the pills but also my attitude toward dieting and the effort I put to it. So, it didn’t rely on the pills to work but I also did some work myself. I’ve been working out and cut down on sweets and I rarely ate after 6-7pm. I managed to lose 20lbs in three months.
SO, if one gets lucky to receive the pills and puts some effort to it-success is inevitable.
Have you tried any other weight loss pills or dieting programs before? |

For Christ's sake everbody read this and stop being so bloody naive.
There are thousands of professional companies around the world that sell lists of names to anyone who wants to buy such information.
Databases are compiled and sold according to need. Information is often collected through market research, and also directly from companies that have your details already - ie you said you had a Priority Club card (this company probably on-sold their database of customers).
It may not even relate to a previous purchase history. Your name can easily end up on any list, anywhere, or they may just be targeting the general public BLINDLY, knowing that they will get enough hits to generate PROFIT. It's the same as selling anything really.
This is where the TELEPHONE BOOK comes into it. They even get the phone book on CD now, so they don't even have to enter the raw data. Then they just bulk mail the crap knowing that enough desperate people will react and fork out their money.
Every time to sign on for something, even on the internet, take a survey, even on the phone, you are ending up on a list somewhere. They may ask you if you weight loss is of concern to you. Your "yes" response will mean you go on a list of people to target for products or services in that category. This is sold to anyone wanting such lists.
Information is huge business, because it determines how companies can generate not only more profit by knowing who to target from the start, but also saves them a lot of money in advertising, and saves them the trouble of conducting their own extensive market research. |

Yeah, c2001 has completely right!
There are thousand of services around the globe, and most of them are present directly on the Internet. DirectMail database and services are available to anyone who has money to pay it. Therefore you don't need to wonder how and who did get your mailing address or your name?!?
