Hi, my mother has some problems and I need to find some answers. She is 63 years old. She had problems with her gall bladder. At the end doctor has decided to remove hers gall bladder. It was three weeks ago. But she is still feeling difficulties after almost every meal. The pains are like burning sensations and sometimes it is followed by vomiting. Can you tell me why that is?

Hi, I am not sure that your mother has listened carefully about post surgical treatment. Essential thing after the gall bladder removal is a nutrition control, management of food. Your wife is not supposed to eat products with high levels of animal fat; like meat, cheese, milk etc. Also she should avoid fried foods, spicy foods and to drink a lot of clear liquids. I think that this is causing the trouble but, of course, you should check with doctor.
