| Hi my son, age 8, had his tonsils, adenoids and gromments done 15th Jan 2007, and been 6 days now and he has severe ulceration of throat and ears, and infection despite taking Amoxil. Is this normal, and when should he start to get better, he is in extreme amounts of pain and can't talk, eat or drink properly. |

i'm sorry to say but the extreme pain is normal. I had my tonsils out jan 5 2007 and mine are still in pain...it still hurts to swallow, yawn, cough, and at tims drink....this is a very intense surgery that they dont always tell you  |
