Ulcerative colitis treatment via a drug called azulfidine?

Hello! I have ulcerative colitis and I have started with treatment with a drug called Azulfidine. I have never taken this drug before and I really do not know anything about it. Please tell me if it will help me in healing this annoying illness. I am thanking you in advance!

Hello! I can tell you that Azulfidine does not healing ulcerative colitis, but it helps with decreasing symptoms. You will notice that you feel better and that your problems with swelling, diarrhea, fever, pain in stomach are disappeared or they are decreased much. Any side effect is not acceptable and must be reported to your doctor.
