Hi, I have severe pain since yesterday and just can’t decide between ultram, ultracet and lorcet. Which one is the best and why is it better then the other? What is the difference between them?

Well, ultram is just a brand name for a medicine called tramadol. It is also one of the components in ultracet, the other medicine you asked about. That is the connection between first two drugs. However, lorcet is combination of acetaminophen (tylenol) and hydrocodone. It is a brand name for a drug called vicodin. This is also pain reliever, just like ultram and ultracet. Why don’t you simply ask a doctor which one of these drugs is the best for you? He has your whole medical history, and it makes him most competent for diagnosing and prescribing. I know one more thing that include ultram, ultracet and lorcet all, and that is the danger of using if you ever had problems with alcohol and drug addiction or liver diseases.
