I have this problem, I was told it has to do with a certain flap in my esophogus? Well I'm 19 years old and I have still not overcome "spitting up" much like an infant when being burped. I regurgitate my food whenever I burp, everytime I swallow, I swallow air. I can think of no better way to describe it than how an infant spits up, I know very little about why it's happening and I would just really love to keep my food and my burps separate! |

Do you fully vomit when this happens?
I had severe GERD, and would regurgitate after every single thing I ate or drank. I didn't vomit - it would come up just far enough to where I could taste it in the back of my throat, and then go back down.
Do you have any other symptoms like heartburn? If so, I'd definitely see a GI doctor, as it could be GERD. |
