Hi. I am a girl 17 years old and I am scheduled to have an eye surgery next weekend. The surgery is going to be done under the local anesthesia. I can say for certain that I am very scared. Is it going to hurt. I am thinking of canceling the surgery, because I am afraid of something going wrong. Please help, I don't want to be blind!
Don't worry, it is routine surgery, and it don't hurt. It only stings a little. You have nothing to worry about. I had a two of those, and it was ok. And if you want, you can have a surgery with the full anesthesia. If you ask them to give it to you, they will. Don't throw away your health because of fear. Good luck with the surgery.
