Is it possible that my dentist doesn’t know what cause infection in my tooth. I am desperate. I don’t believe that there are some unknown infections. or there is? Has anyone had such experience?
My uncle was in the process of having a root canal done. He then spiked a temp of 100 with fever and chills and a pain on top of his head, and was hospitalized. He is on third generation antibiotics, for the past week. His temp went down to 98 and even to normal but then goes back up. They knew that he has some infection, but it was unknown…until dr. found a small amt. of bacteria in his urine but not much! The dentist unpacked the tooth to drain but insists that there is nothing wrong in that department, so…we are waiting still.
