had one pill free week and came on for 4 days, was due to re-start my pack on the thursday but did take it till the saturday due to stress and forgetting, on this day i had unprotected sex but didnt take anymore pills because am changing so wanted to come off it. only took that one pill, had some bleeding a few days later, will taking that one pill have covered me?

| hard to understands your timings in there but neway....my gfs pill states that you must take for 7days straight when first starting on it, and then if you miss one and dont take within 24hours you should wait 7days again....that prbably a "super safe" guideline however and all pills will work different |

No you are not protected  , it takes some time for the pill to start to work, and that is upto a month, so you had unprotected sex, so the next step is a store test, and wait it out, you should have been told that you shound be using some other form of protection at first. go back to the doctors office or planned parenthood center, and ask for some help, tell them the story. 
I hope you are not pregnant, as you are trying to do something about sex at a early age, but have at least use one other type of protection in place, diaphragm, condom will help this worries out.
