So I just got my birth control yesterday, and I started my period today. My doctor told me to start taking it a few days after I started my period, but I read the directions and it said to take it within the first 24 hours of your period. So I did what the directions said, is that right? I'm scared I already screwed it up!

no don't worry, you should follow the instructions in your leaflet, your doctor sounds like they've made a boo boo. I started mine on the first day of my periods too, you're fine.
