I have experienced problems urinating for quite a few years now. These include dribbling after finishing, poor stream and increased frequency of a night. These problems have slowly gotten worse.
About 3 years ago I started having problems getting and maintaining erections which have slowly worsened to the point where I very seldom obtain any form of erection, never mind maintaining one!
Two years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and have (within the last month) started taking Insulin to help.
My Cirrhosis was diagnosed 5 years ago and I have been alcohol free for 10 years now.
The main problem I am writing to you about is that of the urination which had gotten worse over the last 2 years. In conjunction with this I have started to get a pain in my left groin/hip. This started as just a uncomfortable feeling at the base of my scrotum, but has now spread up the crease between leg and torso towards the edge of my hip. I have problems sleeping because of the paon, which I rate about 6 at night.
I have had a D.R.E (normal) and my PSA is about 2.5.
I am about to see a Urologist, but would like to have a bit of information to go along with.
Can you shed any light as to a possible cause?
Regards,
