Using daypro in arthritis treatment?

Hello! My husband has arthritis. His doctor prescribed him Daypro. I am not sure that this drug will be useful for arthritis and I have never heard that it is recommended for arthritis treatment. I have heard that you have problem with arthritis, too; so, I was thinking that you will probably know much about this then I. Please, tell me if I am in right regarding usage of Daypro in arthritis treatment.

Hello! Well, you are not right. Daypro is used in arthritis treatment. If doctor prescribed Daypro to your husband, then he should take it. But, he should consult with doctor about side effects and benefits and risks. I can tell you that over then1800 mg daily dose is not recommended. He should take this drug exactly as prescribed in the same time every day. If your husband feels any side effect he should contact his doctor.
