Few days ago, I have noticed something like lump in the back of my throat. I tried to discover what that is so in the mirror I saw my uvula enlarged. It looks like by hanging so low it is close enough to touch the top of my tongue. This caused the sensation that the lump in my throat that really makes me worry. I wonder if anyone has idea why that happened to me, and how I could fix it.
A couple of days ago I had the same lump feeling in the back of my throat. That used to cause constantly an urge to swallow. I have done a brief self-examination, and I discovered that my uvula was hanging down. I guess it looked the same as you saw, which scared me. That made me start searching solution for this annoying problem. I made some researches around the net and I found that the only way to shrink it was laser surgery. This surprised me because that is the first time I have experienced something like this. I was hoping to find a process a bit less drastic then immediate surgery. I was hoping, for instance, something like a gargling solution of some kind. I am planning now to visit my doctor, but my mother told me I really need surgery, so if surgeon recommend laser, I shall do it. I could suggest you too one visit to a doctor.
