Vaginal Brown Discharge - Ovulation?

Hi there, I am 30 and sexually active. I have unprotected sex with the same man for a couple years and we have both been tested within the past year for STDs. I have always had an irregular cycle and was on the pill, but took myself off it because I didn't like the side effects. I usually have a period about every other month and they are normal when I have them.
5 days ago (Tues night) I had sex and we did a different position which I think was too deep. A few hours later I woke up feeling like I had to urinate (feeling that full bladder, have to pee pressure), but not much came out. The whole next day I felt that pressure, it was only internal like in my cervix or maybe uterus. Everything else felt fine. The pain was pretty constant throughout the next 2 days, but now everything is feeling fine.
2 days after I had the sex, (Friday),I noticed a little bit of light brown discharge in my panties and assumed my period was going to start. It never came, but for the next day or so I have verrry light brown spotting in my underware, not even enough for a panty liner.
Is the spotting likely due to the sex or is that my period? Also, I took a pregnacy test also on Friday and it came up negative.

I don't have any symptoms that would indicate either a STD or a pregnancy, so Im assuming that this discharge was due to the sex and the pain, but could there be other reasons?

im 13 and have NOT started my period yet. im a virgin and have been having a clear discharge for a while but lately its turned to brown and every night i find in my panties. what can it be? should i be scared?
or did i start my period and its just a light flow? please help. i appreciate it.

I too have had a brownish discharge. I am about 20 days late for my period. I am now having all the usual signs of a period only instead of the normal red blood I have brownish colored blood and large brownish clots. I have the condition know as Bicornate Uterus which means I have two cervix's and two fully formed uterus. I am 35yrs old and have been trying to get pregnant for about 7yrs without success. I also take many medications for Juvanile Rhueamthiod Arthrits, Ostheoperosis, and Fibromyalgia. Lately my periods have been hit and miss. I will have a period then be three weeks late. Then I will have a normal period and again be three weeks late. Can anyone offer me some advice. This is becoming very frustrating. Why am I getting this brownish color blood now? Also how hard is it for a woman who has two uteri (uterus's) to become pregnant. My Rheumathologist really would like me to get pregnant soon as the longer it goes the harder it will be on me physically with all my health problems. I do have an apointment to see a gyno in a few weeks, but I am concerned about this browinsh color blood as it is not the first time I have had this happen.

Hello im am 17 yrs old have been sexually active since march of this year.recently i had some brownish discharge during my ovulation it has been going on for the past 4 days.i last had my period the 28 of jul-until the 1st of august,did i mentioned im irregular in my period.so i have no idea when i will get it this month,im guessing sometime by the end of this month...This happened to me last month during the first week of july i had some brownish spottings,and i feared i could of being pregnant so i took a pregnancy test,it was negative 2 weeeks after that i finally got my period...Now is happening again but im am almost sure i am not pregnant i never have unprotected sex...so what could this brown discharge be? this is the second time happening to me except that this time is more than the last time that it happened to me...so what could be my problem???is it due to ovulation?,is it normal??? i have no pain,rash anything...??? Question

i feel completely fine,is all ok except for the fact that my normal mucus which is transparent to whiteish like it always has been is now with brown spottings??? Any advice could be helpful Very Happy

I just turned 21, and I had my son a day before my 19th birthday, Ever since I had him, I have had sever pains in my stomach when my husband pennitrates me to the point of tears. Usually leaves me bundled up in a ball not able to move. I had my usual STD and HIV check about 3 months ago. I honestly think it has to do from my pregnancy, even if it was a normal 9 months wth no complications. Only problem we waited 3 weeks to have sex after my C-section, which my Doctor said was okay. But now I'm having a dark brown discharge that is really alarming, and a weird odor when we have sex which isnt often because of the fear of being hurt. All of this has really ruined my desire to even have sex anymore. Whats wrong with me? Did my old Doctor mess me up with the c-section that he swore is okay even after I told him of the sever pain even 6 months after birth? Why the discharge? What can I do?

I am 19 and have been sexually active for the last yr. For the past 2 yrs i have had a red/brown discharge around the time i ovulate. is it because of ovulation considering i wasnt sexually active when it started. Everything else is fine, I've never had unprotected sex, no pain etc and at all other times my discharge is normal - clear, odour free, not too heavy or light. I started my period when i was 14 and for up until 2 yrs ago i didnt really experience this, could it be due to fluctuating hormone levels as I am still growing height wise. its not unexpected bleding, i can tell when its gonna happen, i also have a higher body temp at this time - ovulation? any help appreciated.

I WENT TO THE DOCTOR YESTERDAY N GOT A PAP SMEAR SHE SAID SHE DIDNT C ANYTHING WRONG WHEN I CAME HOME I WENT TO SLEEP ON MY HARD FLOOR WHICH WZ HURTED ME WHILE I WZ ASLEEP SO I KEPT SWITCHING FROM SIDE TO SIDE (IN MY SLEEP).
