| Im 14 years old, days from my 15th birthday. I havent yet started my period, after a long wait, however for a couple of days now i have seen that i have brown discharge. It is staining my pants and im really worried. Im obviously not sexually active, so am scared. I have also found that i am getting tinsy bits of blood, however i dont think its enough for me to have started my period. Im too embarrassed to talk to my mum or a doctor. please help! |

| Ok...so I am slightly freaking out now that I've read some of these posts. I am supposed to start my period tomorrow, or around that time. But lately I've been having a dark brown discharge. Does anyone know what this is? |

| I am 27 and sexually active. I have a light brown discharge that doesn't look like blood, along with itching and slight vaginal swelling. I have had this problem on and off for nearly a year now, and the doctor doesn't help. Each time I go she says she doesn't detect excess yeast, but still treats me for a yeast infection. I have tested negative for STD's. Last time I decided to not go to the doctor, and the problem cleared up after about a week. Help! |

well i have been seaching about this
i am 15
been sexually active for about a year
and i do not use sexual portection
and i havent gotten my period since march 2008 and before march i didnt get it till january
i tested once before march it came out negitive and once a month ago negitive also
and two days ago i noticed a borwn discharge non-period like, thick nd nasthy
ive never had before
it went away one day but it came back and its alot
with no period crampsz etc.
what can it possibly be? |

Hello! My name is Emma, im 16 yrs of age almost 17 i was exsposed to sex at a very early age and became sexually actice I was tested and no problems came up but now i am with My current Boyfriend for 5 months now and i have an implant in my arm Its due to get taken out Next April 09,
Nothing Has every occured to me that has be wrong with the vaginal area but with the past 2 days i have recieved a Brown Type Liquid Show up on my panties along with coming out of my vagina im affraid to go to my mother or doctor about it!! I was wondering if you would be able to help me out Please xx |

Hi i wrote a new post up but no one has replied to it 
basically i had the implant taken out on may 19th and few days after i had a bit of bleeding this lasted 2/3 days and then 2/3 days later i came on for another few days and then this happend again for the third time couple of days later....few days later i had a lil itch down there went to scratch it and there was this weird phelgm-looking stuff with was clear with a tinge of brown in it, later on that night i found some more of this stuff it was really elasticy. and the since then i have had alot of white discharge more than i ever have got before.....also having strange symptoms.....really tired all the time, really sore nipples, eating more and urinating more(sometimes its cloudy). Been to docs and everything is fine no UTIs or STDs.
Is this jus my body gettin back to normal....or does this sound like i could be pregnant. i did a test bout a week after the bleeding had stopped.
please help me

I've never had this problem and I'm very concerned. I'm 24, currently on Birth Control, and Sexually active. I started taking birth control to regulate my periods about 2 years ago. I really haven't had a problem getting a period since, except those delayed days when I forgot to take my pills. Well this month was a bit different.. Normally I get my period on a MONDAY but this month I started the Wednesday before (6-24) and now it's Saturday (7-5) and I'm still on it...ONLY it's not really a period.. I haven't seen any blood it's just been brown (normally when I wipe), with the occasional "chunks" here and there. I wouldn't have been that concerned, but now I am due to the fact that it's lasted far longer than my normal period (typically 5 days). Nothing out of the ordinary happened last month, only that I missed some birth control pills and instead of taking them on the day I miss them I would take the pill the following day with the scheduled pill at the same time (this happend more than 4 times during the cycle).
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Sorry Kelly but is sounds like you are having a miscarriage. The "chunks" may be blood clots. If you are having a miscarriage you should still have the hormone in your blood and if you take a pregnancy test it may have postitve results. On the other hand you could have some inplantational bleeding meaning you are about pregnance and the egg in settling in your womb. |
