hello all i have a question
saturday i had alot of sex, with one person, with multiple condoms, and in the morning we went at again even though i was sore (i know stupid), i got up and peed afterwards and it was burning. It was like this until today (which is wed) when seems to not burn so much actually it doesnt hurt at all, but i still have alot of discharge but it's clear and i have like a weird odor also. I am trying to see if it will go away by the end of the week or if i should go to the school clinic...what could it possibly be...could i just be trippin? |

| I have the same issue. Never a problem with smell EXCEPT after prolonged (crazy) sex. It is slightly fishy, not normal. If this is an infection, how can prolonged sex cause that? This only happens with a lot of sex in one day. It takes over a week to return to normal again. What is this? |

| This is a simple infection that is not harmful to you now but can be in the future if you become pregnant. It is resolved by a simple round of anitibiotics. It is not sexually transmitted but it is triggered by having sex. You should go to the doctor and get the meds to protect any children you have in the future. Make no mistake this will hibernate and come back again unless treated with medication. |

sounds more like a UTI or urinary tract infection which is due to the fact that women have a shorter urinary tract, or urethra, than men.
to cure it, you should take a course of antibiotics. but as they always say, prevention is better than cure so here's a couple of tips.
1) Don't use condoms with spermicide, nonoxynol-9 as this increases the risk of getting a UTI.
2)Drink lots of water and make sure you pee after sex. This allows you to flush out the bacteria in the tract.
3) Take lots of cranberry juice as it makes the tract slippery and harder for the bacteria to attach and grow.
