I am a new mom, I gave birth 5 weeks ago. I had a natural birth but I tore. I had to get stickeds in my vaginal canal and from my vigina to my anus. I have been healing pretty well for weeks. A few days ago I noticed it hurt my stiches when I went pee. I have been cleaning my stiches really well but I increased the times I did it per day. Now I have a dark colored discharge. Any ideas? Confused

I think that a bit of discharge is normal after birth, but if your stitches are bothering you it would be a good idea to mention it to a doctor
