My husband and I have never had any other partner any time in our lives, but in the past three days I've noticed a discomfort outside of my vaginal region. I'm not all up with the terms used down there, but I have what I have termed a reef around my vagina that is inflamed, not red, but very very itchy and uncomfortable. It is not hard but it is firmer than the rest of me and it does encompass the lower region of my vagina. I also itch and hurt inside my my labia and up around where I pee. It does not hurt to urinate, nor have sex. I have no smell or abnormal vaginal discharge. I have just started a new job, so i dont have health insurance and cannot go to a doctor. Planned parenthood is not an option where I live. Does anybody know what I might have. I'm in a lot of pain and discomfort when I walk or sit and it itches contantly. Please help.

Try and get monistat 1 day, this sounds like a yeast infection. See if this works, but do not have sex anymore until you get this taking care of, because sometimes the partner can carry it and you'll get cured then have sex and you both will pass it back and forth. It's highly unlikely that this could happen, but more likely if he's uncircumsized. Good luck!
