Vaginal burning and discharge..and not an infection??

I need some advice. I have been to the doctor 3 times now and have no answers. i have been suffering from vaginal discharge and burning now for over a month. Did 2 OTC Monistat and did not get better so went to the doctor. He took a sample and sent to lab tested for any infection or STD and nothing. Just went back today and he said he's not sure what it is might be irritation. Any one have any ideas. He also said that i have a cyst but that it is not related and will not cause any harm other than it will be painful when it bursts.
