Im 16 and my vaginal area over the past 2 days has been EXTREMLY itchy and everytime i itch it swells up very much so. And the itcheyness wont go away. Im not sure what to do but its beginning to hurt. I dont want to tell my mom because im not comfortable talking to her about that kind of stuff and iv never seen a gynacologist. I really dont know what to do. Can someone please help me!
It sounds like you may have a yeast infection. Which is no big deal and doesn't have t be sexually related, they can be a result of antibiotics, or even diabetes. Talk to your mom.
Those are two big symptoms of a yeast infection and if it is your first yeast infection you NEED to go see a gynecologist. Also, if you are sexually active you should be seeing a gynecologist anyway.
