I currently have my period, and this is really freaking me out. A couple weeks ago, I had my first gyno visit and it seemed a little rushed. Could the doctor have missed something like this?

They're back. It's uncomfortable. It seems that I get one really painful bump (makes it uncomfortable to walk, etc.), it takes about a day for it to start draining yellow/white pus, and then clear liquid with a small amount of blood. Still a virgin. Still have no clue what this is. My insurance doesn't cover going back to the gyno if it has been < 1 year since last appointment. My family can afford it, but I feel really awkward talking to my mom about this. Almost as awkward as my first visit was.. seriously. ALL AND ANY HELP APPRECIATED!

Likely an infected gland if you're never had sex- I can totally understand you feeling weird telling your mom- Heck I'm 26 and wouldn't want to tell my mom! But a gyn needs to look at this b/c if it's an infected gland they can help you so you don't have to keep putting up with it! Smile
