Posted: 07/15/06 - 10:18 Post subject: Vaginal pain - burning without sexual intercourse |
|
|
When I go to urinate it burns....no itching, no discharge...the burning seems to happen when the urine hits a certain area of the vaginal opening...my vagina aches for several days and then it stops...The area seems a little red.
Sexual intercourse does not seem to play a part in it, because it happens whether I have sex or not. And I did receive a clean bill of sexual health several months ago. I have not changed partners.
Any ideas?
I am going to make a doctor's appointment but was wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar. |

In reference to shye1 concerned with burning sensation with or without sexual intercourse ..
I myself am experiencing vaginal and rectal burning on a daily basis. Being not sexually active and a very clean person, my symptoms are mild and tolerated, though I just know that there is definitely a medical problem that should be cured by administering proper antibiotics. The problem I'm having is that I too have had a complete blood work for STD or any other diseases causing my dreadful symptoms, leading to negative results and misdiagnosed. I noticed the feeling of burning 2 weeks after I had a 3-some with a woman and a man. The man had just recovered from colon cancer and could have transmitted microscopic bacteria to my vulva and colon, which I believe is very difficult to treat. {Obviously} ...
Living in a large populated country with wealth and sex, you'd think that the medical field would be more prepared or have a cure for all sexual transmitted diseases.

Good luck to you and to anyone who should not have to suffer.
