Vaginal pain not sure what it is...

Well, I am really confused about what I may have... Ive looked online and it shows up some sort of "irritated vulva" thing but...i dont know. My symptoms are itching and soreness around the vaginal hole, no discharge, no smell and it hurts like HECK when I try to have sex with my boyfriend. Ive had this for over 2 weeks now and it seems to be getting slightly better. But, I dont know what it could be and if I should go to my dr.
