Vaginal problems after unprotected sex

I just lost my virginity 2 and 1/2 days ago. One of those times, we did not use protection. My period had ended a few hours before we had sex. I was experiencing some vaginal problems. I was scared so I did go get to emergency contraceptive and I took that. I still have my vaginal problems which are
1. swelling.. on one side of the vagina and not the other lip
2. a little redness.. not a lot
3. a little bleeding which lasted for like 2 mins
4. mild vaginal pain (no itchiness though)
Yesterday I did have abdominal pain, but that went away.
Does anyone know what this could be? Or is this normal or not?

I am not a doctor, but I had a friend who went through the same things you are describing. She was scared to go to the doctor but I finally convinced her that IT WAS SERIOUS! It could be a some type of yeast infection or an STD. It turned out she did have an STD..
My advice, work up the courage to go see a doctor! Something like that is not normal and should be checked out.

hey i actually still experience some of the same symptoms myself, even though i lost my virginity over a year ago. I still havent figured out what it is and i still get the symtoms just about everytime i have sex. However, the blood secretion was probably just because it was your first time having sex. Sorry this wasnt too helpful, but atleast you know your not the only one out there! If you find anything that works for you, please let me know and ill do the same!
