My boyfriend has a serious problem with insomnia. He became so nervous because of it but he doesn’t want to take any medications. He heard that Valerian Root can be used to treat insomnia and he likes to try it. Tell me is it a good idea to use Valerian Root to help relieve insomnia?

I think that it’s very good idea. My sister used Valerian Root to treat insomnia and it helped her. It has ability to help relax the central nervous system and decrease levels of anxiety and stress. It’s very important to know that when using it for insomnia, do not take it for more than two week periods.
