A friend of mine is continuing to take Valium 5 mos. linto her pregnancy. Is this safe, and if so, how many milligrams?

Is it prescribed by her doctor? Does her doctor know she's taking it? What reason is she taking it for? These are all important questions because of the possible need outweighing the risks.
