Hi, we need to decide whether my husband should undergo vasectomy or not. Perhaps, it is my only chance to get children ever, and I want a little boy. What is the vasectomy about?
There are two typically performed surgical interventions. The first is vasectomy, the process by which the urethral tube, the one that carries sperm from the testicles out the penis is blocked. Vasectomy reversal is a micro-surgical procedure, which reconnects (done using an operating the tubes, allowing sperm to pass through again. This procedure requires a special technique which is done by skilled professionals called microsurgeons. General anesthesia is used to put patient in sleep, and enable carrying out of operation.
