no pain

extreme vertigo if lie on back or look up
Don't know if this is serious or not or will go away after rest
No other symptoms.

It is good that you have no other symptoms. You should rest and the dizziness should stop after 24 hours. If no other symptoms develop, you could go back to work/school in a few days time.
Mild injuries to the head could cause concussion. Symptoms may not appear all of a sudden but hours after the incident. If you happen to develop any strange symptoms, you should go and see a doctor to check if concussion occurred or maybe even some internal damage.
Some of the symptoms that may indicate problems are headaches, personality changes and irritability, restlessness, problems with coordination, vomiting, neck problems like stiffness, problems with hearing or seeing, drainage from nose or ears, drowsiness, losing conciseness, etc
Following a mild head injury, people may suffer from consequences for two weeks after. The most common ones are tiredness, poor concentration, irritability, headaches, problems with concentration, etc. All of these should go away in two weeks time. If they don’t, you should be looked by a doctor.
