Very high fever and enlarged gland on neck 6 days

Ok 5 days no changes - my right gland on the neck is enlarged and hurts a little- the first day it just felt like sore neck. Nothing else hurts throat is fine and my nose is full when i sleep a little but that is just from sleeping - my temp is constantly 39 - 39,6 C now its 40 C!

I have taken Ibuprofen (400mg) - Sinacilin - but now i go tOligovit and Forte Chymoral - 100 and will take Cefaleksin 500mg

Plz if some1 can help me i think it's some kind of virus but how long should it last!

It does sound like a virus, yes. Perhaps you should cool it on the drugs unless a doctor gave them to you. The best thing for a virus is to let it run its course.

I've had a cold now for going on 2 1/2 weeks. That's a long time, but sometimes viruses take a long time to quit. I am personally not concerned because I was told it was a virus and to just let it run its course. However, if it hits three weeks for you, perhaps go in to the doctor just to make sure that it's nothing serious.

should I be worried. My daughter's right gland on her neck is very swollen and she has a fever of 39 degrees or higher. she of coarse is very tired, what should I do?
