I started my period today and it seems very different than usual. I usually always have the same symptoms where I have the discharge about a week before hand and then spot for a day or two. I usually have some cramping if any. This time I am cramping very bad and pain relief is not helping much. I am not bleeding as usual either. It is not like a continuos flow of blood. I don't have to much on my pad but when I go to the bathroom it's long strings of blood and mucus. It's gross because I literally have to get toilet paper and pull it off. Does anyone have any idea why it could be like this? I know this is totally gross to talk about but I'm really curious.
