It was two weeks ago that I first noticed my appetite slowly going away. During that time, I came down with a severe case of tonsillitis. It was at first I had a severe sore throat, that later formed into a peritonsillar abscess.

During the course of my infection I had no appetite and lost some weight. Seeing as how I've been on antibiotics for a week, (clindamycin) I still have a few days left until I'm done with treatment. The pain is gone but I still have a lack of appetite even after 2 weeks. I still eat but not as much as I used to. I used to eat 6 times a day and now that has dropped to about once or twice as I don't feel very hungry. Will my appetite come back or should I get checked for some other possible disease?
