Vestibular Dysfunction-Balance Problems

Hi, my sister is 43 years old and she has vestibular dysfunction which cause balance problems to her. It is very difficult for her to maintain balance and because of that she cant go out much especially alone. I would like to know something more about this disorder and possible treatments.

Hi, my friend also had problem with vestibular dysfunction and his doctor suggested him operation. Vestibular system is very important for maintaining balance and it is actually part of central nervous system. Signals about body position come from vestibular system and travel to the brain. There are many procedures which may be taken in order to improve balance of patient. Some of them are surgical and other are non surgical.
