I have been using Vicodin for quite some time now. I started after the accident after which I was in so much pain and needed painkillers desperately. My doc prescribed Vicodin and it worked great but not anymore. I started taking higher dosage but it is not helping. How come? Should I get another drug? Thanx

Hello! I don’t know what happened in the accident and for how long you have been taking this drug. It is probably that you became tolerant to it and that it is no longer working in relieving your pain. I reckon you should talk to your doctor and see if you need a change in dosage or a change in the drug but be careful as these drugs are addictive!!!!! Don’t do anything on your own as you may go through withdrawal effects that are not pleasant at all.

I got some for a surgery and It never worked for me since day 1. Stick with IB or go to something stronger.
