WHat is healing time for adult tonsillectomy?

I am 25 years old and I have big problems with my throat, I suffer from angina a lot. It usually starts as a benign viral infection that gets complicated with bacterial super infection. I have been to the doctor and he said that it would be for the best to remove my tonsilles. What is the healing time for tonsillectomy?

That procedure is quite common these days. In adults, it is well healed, just as with children, If there are no complications the regeneration process will be over in ten 10 days. Hygiene of the mouth after the procedure must be thoroughly kept and it would be better if the food is in form of fluids.
