My last period was Feb 7th. I stopped taking oral contraceptives at that point becasue I want to try to conceive this summer and wanted my body to readjust back to normal. My husband and I had sex several times around my supposed ovulation time, but used condoms each time (which we are very inexperienced with, though I'm not sure how to use them wrong - we followed the directions.) One time we used the pull out, then apply condom method.
I've been having vague prementstral cramps for 5 days now and each day I think I'll get my period and I don't. It is now 2 days late according to my cycle the past 5.5 years while on the pill. I never feel this light crampiness for so long before my period, just the morning of usually and then it increases with intensity as the bleeding starts. This time though, that isn't happening. I know it could just be the fact that I am now off the pill and my body feels different, but I don't know. I want to take a pregnancy test, but after reading all these posts I'm worried the results may not be accurate and I don't want to think I'm pregnant or I'm not pregnant and be the opposite. I am not totally mentally ready to be pregnant (we were planning on June sometime) but at the same time very excited if I am.
