Hi, my girlfriend started working out a year ago. Everything was great for the first 7-8 months, but then she stared acting weird. She couldn’t miss one single training, even when she was sick. I’m afraid that she’s becoming a working out addict. Do you know someone who experienced the same thing?

I had the same problem as your girlfriend. I started working out with a simple goal-to boost energy and lose some weight. For the first 10 months I was feeling great, and I loved working out. I didn’t notice that I was becoming addicted to workout, but it’s exactly what was happening. When I had to miss a training, I was so nervous that I sometimes even cried. I was loosing myself and I actually believed that I see my thighs and belly growing and getting fat every time when I missed a training. For every cookie or pizza that I ate, I had to workout at least half an hour. I was literally addicted to this, and it would continue if my sister didn’t notice what was going on. She warned me to stop, and when I didn’t, she told my parents everything. I was angry very much, but now I know that she did a right thing. I was so close to become anorexic, that I freak out when I even thing think of that.
