| I had auto accident in Nov. and started having acute inflammatory symptoms a month later. Pain in all joints, ankle and leg swelling (was sonogramed for DVT) Had initial blood work at GP and had positive ANA. Extreme exhaustion, hair breaking off, bruising etc. My question..how much bearing would the stress of the auto accident have on a possible Lupus flare? I will get results in a few days but have had 6 weeks to think about it. Also dry burning eyes and off and on malar rash. Oh the tests I am waiting on were ordered by Rheumatologist. |

Dear Jeana,
It was nice to see that I have a light minded person on the internet asking the same questions I have! Perhaps once your lab results come through, and you have received a reply to the link between the Road Traffic Accident (RTA) and the onset of Lupus, you will be in a position to let me know your findings.
I would very much appreciate to contacting me because it will no doubt asisst you as well as myself to get to the root of triggers of Lupus.
