Warm flushes in left testicle

I am 39 and for several days now I have been experiencing these strange warm flashes in my left testicle. They are not painful and and just come and go all day (feel warm for a few seconds, and then go away, then come back again), which can be extremely irritating...I am kind of hoping this will go away, but I wondering if it cold be a symptom of something more serious...
