My 3 year old son is unbearable with this screaming, kicking and hitting. I try not to be cruel, but sometimes he just exaggerates with this bad behavior that I hardly control myself of …. don’t know closing him in his room all by himself for example. It actually happened once. So…was I too harsh on him?
Those tantrums you described are in some cases normal phase of growing up. That’s just the way he expresses what he wants, because is unaware of some other way. Usually this phase doesn’t last longer than 3years of age. He needs to get understanding and good and health communication by your side at first. Don’t get upset try to talk to him and calm him down. As soon as he learns using more words and making clear sentences the thing will come to normal. And yes, you were too harsh on him!
