Was I pregnant and miscarried without knowing it??

I completely missed my period lthe past two months. My periods haven't been that regular during my life but they have been quite regular for the past year or so since I made some changes. During the past two months I have felt like my period was coming the whole time. I have had a lot of cramping the past month with swollen, tender breasts. I have been waking up early in the morning with abdominal pain and needing to pee. I have been extremely irratable and probably bloated too. My face also seems to have a mind of its own. I just got my period today but it is late for this month. I should say it was two months late, I didn't have one at all in October or November, and normally they come around the 15th. Now I am having mine at the beginning of the month, and it was quite sudden and very painful. I also had a clear slimy discharge quite a few times during the month, it didn't smell bad like an infection though. I never got a pregnancy test done partly because the first time I thought about being pregnant was today before it finally came. I've been busy with school and work and a puppy in a new house so my mind has been full. Is it possible to have been pregnant and not even have known it, and then to have had a miscarriage? Would my hormone levels still be high enough to tell if I were tested?

Yes they would be high enough.

A pregnancy test would show a positive result for about 2 weeks after a miscarriage.
